Who Am I Working With?

Hi there, I’m Emily.

I started Something New in 2025 after nearly three years of working in a traditional day program setting. The memories I made were invaluable, but I also saw where day programs fell short.

In addition to my work, I also supported my younger brother who has I/DD. I felt my history with my brother and my experience as a service provider uniquely positioned me to offer better services that people actually want.

No classrooms, no curriculum, no workshops, no overcrowding, no revolving door of staff, and no manufactured goals. Just a small group of friends focused on living life to the fullest, whatever that means to you.
